You’re welcome. I myself just learned today for the first time (from [tag]Sherman[/tag]) that the conservative denomination known as the “Church of Christ” (not to be confused with the UCC, who are almost as religiously over-liberal as the UUs) is one of the hard Arm groups! I had always had an impression they were Calv! (From their absolute stance that anyone not explicitly in their group won’t be saved.)

Goodness, Yes, the CoC is definitely hard-core Arm group. That’s the church that both Richard Beck and I grew up in.

I know a lot about the history of the Campbell-Stone movement that is nowadays divided into Church of Christ, Churches of Christ and Christian Churches, and Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). I’ll start a thread when I get back from lunch
