I have to admit I’ve been struck by this for the last week. It reminds me of something I’ve heard James White say a lot(of course, the antithesis of), though I think he’s repeating something he heard from someone else: God can either save some people, or he can save everybody, or he can save nobody. There might be more to it, but I think that is the jist of it. For a long time I was given pause when I heard him say this, but it never stuck since I thought there was something not quite right about the formulation. Though I couldn’t explain what, as many teachings of Jesus or his stories, and various arguments and exhortations of the apostles would flash across my brain. So when I read this, something clicked in good moving forward kind of way. I still can’t put my finger on it much less express it. But still, thanks for your help along the way.
