How To Live Under An Unqualified President by John Piper

What we still have is a whistleblower’s OPINION. No other evidence. Apparently that’s enough evidence to overturn an election.
Is that good enough for dems who have been trying fruitlessly for 3 years to get the goods.? I guess so. It’s not enough for me

My impression is the whistle blower report counts for nothing to anyone serious about this. His info is hearsay, it is all just second hand! As I’ve repeatedly argued here, what matters is the more direct testimony and reports, and whether they turn out to confirm that initial characterization.

And thus that I think the non-partisan public should (and may) form more assured conclusions
after there are public hearings with cross examination by both parties.

You’re welcome. I’m sad about America’s present predicament too, but my hope always springs eternal that we will yet be able to drain the swamp

Well, for better or worse. Here’s what’s in the BBC today, regarding you know who.

And personally, I think Trump should “tone down” - his public commentary.

True spirituality or path of meditation is to return back to your natural self again. When you go to a place of pure nature you become meditative and spiritually vibrant, for your soul longs to be in nature and be natural. It is the illusive mind that pulls us away from nature outside and inside. Only meditation and prayerfulness can make our mind free of all illusions and allow us to abide in our pristine natural Self.

Actually, if folks practice any meditative (or even medicine) disciplines, in my profile links…they would be less stressed and upset, over life’s events…like what is happening with President Trump. So if anything, blame this on my lifetime membership - in the Theosophical Society - mainly for their extensive library collection. And I used their connections, to explore things in the Native American, Indian and Tibetan yoga, and Zen worlds.

Except we most likely view the swamp differently. My view is that Adam Schiff is the biggest swamp creature , he is a real reptile. But there are plenty of others like John Brennan and a slew of others whereas you probably view Trump as head swamp creature.

Let’s see if we, can have a visual.

I still have difficulty believing they think a phone call where you have to assume conclusions and where in reality nothing actually happened is impeachable. It’s mass brainwashing in slow motion.

Sometimes it’s hard to interpret, a phone call. This example illustrates this point!

You nailed it. Thanks for catching my drift about our present polarization.

The true cabal is the Left, the media, the Swamp - trying to undo a presidential election, based on someone’s perception about a phone call - which I have read and hopefully you have too.

This latest whistleblower has not stood up to examination yet.
" The so-called “whistleblower” (who dd not follow the protocol necessary to qualify for whistleblower protections) could well be facing serious legal jeopardy. Sean Davis writes in the Federalist:

Testimony by Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) Michael Atkinson revealed that the whistleblower, whom Real Clear Investigations has identified as former National Security Council (NSC) staffer and current Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) analyst Eric Ciaramella, concealed his contacts with Schiff from the ICIG in his complaint form. If the anti-Trump complainant did, in fact, refuse to disclose previous disclosures of his allegations to Congress or the news media, he could be subject to felony criminal penalties for making false statements. The final portion of the whistleblower form requires whistleblowers to attest under penalty of perjury that they have neither misstated nor concealed material facts in their complaints."

Turns out, it doesn’t matter.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Friday it’s possible that controversies beyond Ukraine could be part of the impeachment case against President Trump.

House Democrats have recently sought to narrow their impeachment inquiry to the allegations stemming from an intelligence community whistleblower complaint that said Trump tried to pressure Ukraine to initiate politically charged investigations in return for the release of congressionally approved security aid.
In Pelosi’s statement, she’s saying, for sure, this time, hunt hither and yon, she’ll find something that sticks.

In other words, she knows Ukraine is a loser, as Thomas Lifson noted here. But she’s got the big impeachment machinery up in place and working, so with Ukraine not panning out like she said it would, she’ll find some other grist for it.

Above, I’ve responded once again to this continual emphasis.

He is 33 years old and connected with Biden and the Dems and may have been a shill just used to initiate this whole extravaganza. Apparently he worked in the WH for awhile & was fired for leaking info.
Just another unbiased patriotic person of course. The more one looks into this the more it’s clear it’s a political weapon saved for what they think is the right time.

I don’t see how that undermines my analysis of the whistle blower issue at all.

It is clear, and so clear one wonders how anyone could fog up the issue.

Perhaps like this?

Hillary’s scandals were amazingly clear. To an unbiased observer anyway. Even Comey admitted it; then pardoned her unlawfully. I’m sure you saw that.

Sure. But the cartoon was still applicable to Steve’s commentary.

This just came from Patheos’ Evangelical newsletter.

What’s the purpose of that? To show that the entire party is deplorable? Or are you just striking out now for some reason?

Did you even read the article? I read it. It seems the male author and his daughter, enjoyed the rally!

Anyway, articles from either the Patheos’ Evangelical or Roman Catholic newsletters, on political topics - usually have theological insight.

I can’t log in to that site, sorry. All I read was the tease you posted - I left in despair. If it was positive then I made a mistake. I read every single post of yours and everyone’s if I am able, which is more than I can say for most of us. But then I’m retired and have time to be an armchair expert.
