How To Live Under An Unqualified President by John Piper

Way I see it - it truly is a case of ‘we know he’s guilty of something and dammit we are going to find it. Or, if we can get away with it, we’ll make it up. We’ll give him a fair trial and then hang him’.

This is from the BBC today.

I sincerely hope that Trump and the leaders of Iran - are not starting the Z-Hell (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) commencement. I hate to watch BBC stories like this.

The BBC quotes CNN as reporting.

But if this happens, we have a potential - for a new food source.

What a great speech Trump gave this morning!

No, the lying Dems charged Trump with “obstruction of Congress” which is virtually nothing since the Courts accepted the case concerning Executive Privilige.
Instructing his reps??? Based on what, oh i know more made up BS. Let’s make up stuff, throw it against the wall by calling “WITNESSES” to something fabricated to get political mileage.

What makes you so sure he abused power? Or did anything different from other presidents?
As I’ve often said, I doubt what he did should remove him from office. Let the Amercan voters decide.

That’s sounds like a bellicose "NO! I’d resent having anyone testify under oath at the risk of perjury, or God forbid, be cross-examined by a Republican Senate and the president’s advocates."

Well, the BBC news chimes in.

I have not even seen any reason to call witnesses for. Plus anything witnesses say will be translated by lying Dems & Media into something different.
The whole episode is a complete pile of garbage.

Thanks for confirming my perception that the administration side thinks the view they support is best preserved by blocking any witnesses from testifying under oath.

The whole article is very good reading:
A snippet:
" During wartime, things like “dignity” and “collegiality” simply aren’t the most essential qualities one looks for in their warriors. Ulysses Grant was a drunk whose behavior in peacetime might well have seen him drummed out of the Army for conduct unbecoming. Had Abraham Lincoln applied the peacetime rules of propriety and booted Grant, the Democrats might well still be holding their slaves today. Lincoln rightly recognized that, “I cannot spare this man. He fights.”

General George Patton was a vulgar-talking, son-of-a-bitch. In peacetime, this might have seen him stripped of rank. But, had Franklin Roosevelt applied the normal rules of decorum, then Hitler and the Socialists would barely be five decades into their thousand-year Reich.

Trump is fighting. And what’s particularly delicious is that, like Patton standing over the battlefield as his tanks obliterated Rommel’s, he’s shouting, “You magnificent bastards, I read your book!” That is just the icing on the cake, but it’s wonderful to see that not only is Trump fighting, he’s defeating the Left using their own tactics.

That book is Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals – a book so essential to the Liberals’ war against America that it is and was the playbook for the entire Obama administration and the subject of Hillary Clinton’s senior thesis. It is a book of such pure evil, that, just as the rest of us would dedicate our book to those we most love or those to whom we are most indebted, Alinsky dedicated his book to Lucifer.

Trump’s tweets may seem rash and unconsidered but, in reality, he is doing exactly what Alinsky suggested his followers do."

Trump handled Iran’s missile attack on our bases with wonderful calm restraint. Kudos for resisting Sean Hannity and others’ insistence that he keep his promise to bomb Iran if they reacted to our killing their leadership.

Let’s pray cool heads prevail.

It’s encouraging to hear that Trump too is a reader.

As did the Dems by passing up the opportunity to call so called witnesses. That is witnesses to nothing.

The latest from the BBC.

Will the BBC be announcing this next?

Yeah, T handled this perfectly. Turning out to be a great President on almost all fronts.

The Dems pursued all these witnesses not requiring a year long court battle and willing to risk being fired if they resisted Trump’s effort to block testimony.

But if I were him or an always Trumper, I too would oppose any facts or testimony being allowed.

I think things in Britain, are a bit more “unstable”. Prince Harry and Meghan, want to be independent - from the Royal family.

And let’s strive for a healthy lifestyle. Like no cigar-smoking, folks.

And the US is ready to “talk Turkey” with Iran.

And a special hand, goes to Facebook.

But as an added bonus, here’s a BBC tech story - with a “bit more zip to it”.

FB helped Trump? Sure, and I have a bridge to sell ya!! lol

GOP senators, Mike Lee & Rand Paul, now urge requiring that Congress must vote before Trump can attack Iran. I agree that our representatives need to shoulder their Constitutional responsibility for entering international warfare.
