How To Live Under An Unqualified President by John Piper

Some good reminders of who actually was morally unfit to be President. Remember these things?

Snippet:
Most journalists are attempting to rewrite the history of the Obama/Biden years to intentionally mislead the public, especially the young. He calls the Obama/Biden years the good ole days.

Maybe we should review the history of those miserable eight years so the public can learn the truth. Of course, the truth hasn’t mattered to the media and other Democrats for a long time, only power.

Do we want the slowest economic recovery in seventy years?

Do we want a president who continually lied to get his prize legislation, Obamacare, passed?

Do we want stagnant wages and more people dependent on government?

Do we want a president who, along with his secretary of state, left Americans to die while concocting a lie about a video because he cared more about an election coming up than the truth — or the Americans under attack?

Do we want a president who used the IRS to target political opponents instead of doing their job to administer tax laws?

Do we want a president who wouldn’t give Ukraine defensive weapons?

Do we want to stop oil drilling and endure higher prices? Do we want someone whose goal is to bankrupt coal companies and jack up energy prices for the poor and middle class?

Do we want slush funds at the EPA, Justice, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to be used for political purposes and to give kickbacks to liberal groups?

Do we want a president who threatened to shut down government if the special interest group that crushes and crunches babies didn’t get its massive taxpayer allowance?

Do we want a president to cater to dictators in Iran, Russia, and Cuba? Do we need someone who is flexible with Russia and who gives them control of 25% of our uranium?

Do we want someone who allows drug-running by terrorists?

Do we want a president who believes that manufacturing is gone for good and that it takes magic to bring it back?

Do we want a president who dictatorially changes immigration laws?

Do we want a president who uses Justice to spy on and target political opponents?

Do we want a president who allowed his secretary of state to traffic classified documents on an unsecure computer and lied when he said he had no idea that Hillary did that?

Do we want a president who allowed so many in his inner circle, including Hillary, Holder, Rice, Clapper, and Brennan to commit crimes such as perjury and allowed them to be above the law?

The list is endless. I would challenge Little Joe, other journalists, and other Democrats to name one domestic policy that Obama had to help the private sector versus moving toward a more powerful government. I would also challenge anyone to name a foreign policy achievement that made the U.S. or world safer. I can’t think of any.

Obama was the most dangerous, dictatorial president I have ever seen, but he, the Clintons, and the Bidens used their power to greatly enrich themselves by living off the public trough.

Though so much nonsense has been in plain sight, they say a picture’s worth a thousand words

Hum! Trump likes Twitter. Twitter says video was “fake news”. Trump retweeted it twice. Trump complains about “fake news”. Am I missing something here?

No, is it surprising with Trump’s record of often posting misleading extremist sources and bad information, that he would do it again? His whole approach is based on urging that our most reliable sources can’t be trusted, but that he should be because he is smarter that everyone else.

I do not think Trump is a Communist or has dementia as Dave suggests of those who challenge him. And I’m sure my objectivity is skewed, but I sincerely perceive that he is not particularly literate.

Bad heart or no, Bernie still is bad for us: is anyone still planning on voting for him??

" Bernie’s new senior advisor had celebrated the PFLP and [had commemorated] a 9/11 anniversary by tweeting, “Tomorrow America remembers the day that she turned on herself, dismantled her constitution, and killed her own citizens in the name of money.”

“I am excited to welcome Phillip to our team,” Sanders was quoted as saying. “He is a gifted organizer."

Bernie’s gifted organizer had commemorated September 11 with an Instagram caption, “#neverforget what goes round comes round.”

The cartoon he was captioning pictured the hijacked planes crashing into the World Trade Center as boomerangs labeled, American foreign policy. The cartoon was by Carlos Latuff, an anti-Semitic and pro-terrorist figure, who had taken second place in Iran’s Holocaust cartoon contest."

After years of hearing Trump described as mentally unfit, Hitlerian, a Fascist, stupid, mysoginist, racist - well he’s been called everything - this is refreshing, and probably true:

"The Democrat Party has finally coalesced around Joe Biden, a plagiarizing, hair-sniffing, girl-groping, sort-of-coherent death’s head who is showing signs of cognitive decline. His opponent at the next Democrat debate is a communist-loving, America-hating, self-loathing anti-Semitic Jew with anger management issues and a bad heart. Both of these geriatric candidates are trying to appear youthful while labeling their opponent decrepit. No wonder the Democrats kicked the vibrant Tulsi Gabbard off the debate stage.
… This squabble would be amusing except that these men are the last Democrats (barely) standing in a competition to be the leader, not just of America, but of the free world. The media’s relentless animus toward Donald Trump makes it difficult for even well-intentioned “undecided” voters to view his presidency objectively. Therefore, there’s a real possibility that even voters who don’t want to vote for Bernie or Biden may feel compelled to vote against Trump.

Neither Bernie nor Biden, however, is qualified to be an American president. As a reminder, while Trump’s style is unique — the humor, the bombast, the feistiness — he’s governed traditionally. He’s stayed within the confines of existing federal law, obeyed court orders, boosted America’s market-based economy, worked to shore up America’s military and economic defenses, strengthened old alliances and made new ones, and generally engaged in policies consistent with American governance at all times other than the Obama years.

The same cannot be said for either Biden or Bernie.

Thanks for engaging the issues and real substance of choices & policies we face

If Biden is elected who would really be the President? Jill Biden or Biden’s sister or Biden’s V/P , possibly Kamala Harris? Perhaps to get Bernie’s endorsement he would be V/P and defacto President? Perhaps Obama?

Well, to answer your question. If Biden is really smart and wise, he would run with Mike Bloomberg as VP. This way we would KNOW who the REAL president is.

Man, you guys are as gracious, kind and sharp as the people who ridicule your candidate.

I have no idea what you mean since your answers are way to sophisticated and profound for me.

I believe you. Trump’s denigrators also have no idea what you mean when you accuse them of unfair sharp ridicule of our president.

P.S. I personally think Trump will have a tougher time, beating Biden than Sanders. And if Biden puts Mike as a VP choice, with Mike’s billions funding the race…Well, the odds will go up substantially. Especially if you add Elizabeth Warren, as Secretary of State - to ring in the female vote.

What does the site Fact Check, have to say?

My family is one of boxers and they’re tough. But they don’t go around talking about how tough they are like Trump and Trumpsters. They don’t brag about being manly. Bragging about being a man is a sign of insecurity and weakness.

Wow! This title from today’s Patheos’ Evangelical newsletter, is sure interesting.
