And whatâs on President Trumpâs mind now?
And we know this article is true how?
I evaluate and confirm Trumpâs outlook by watching him at these press briefings.
Well, oilâs well that ends well?
So much for receiving stimulus checks in the mail.
Letâs listen to Dr. Fauci. Whom I like a lot, by the way.
I donât know much about Fauci. I think the jury is still out.
snippet
Before Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), became a television star, people knew he could be wrong about the coronavirus now sweeping the nation. For example, on January 21, Dr. Fauci said it was unclear whether the virus could spread from person to person, but there was more.
In a January 23 podcast, Dr. Fauci downplayed the potential impact of the virus on the United States, and maintained that the death rate in China was likely much lower than feared. On January 24, Dr. Fauci maintained that the âimmediate riskâ to the public was low, and two days later said the virus was âvery, very low risk to the United States.â It wasnât, but Fauci took little criticism from the establishment media. The same was true in a previous health crisis with lasting consequences.
Well, according to Wiki - he has a great medical, academic background.
Remember. Trump either picked him and/or keeps him on board.
You may be right, Randy. But I am no longer entranced by experts.
Trump has tweeted to fire him, supposedly.
Again, I have no dog in the fight. The Dr. has proven very wrong in the past at times, but he is still an expert! I know no more than you do.
âUS âcould have saved livesâ with earlier action.â
If ever there was an obvious, unsurprising, foregone conclusion, this is it. In other words, no duh!
Itâs on a par with âIf we all stayed home and out of our vehicles on Independence Day, many lives would have been saved.â
What impressed me from the Wiki article, was the Awards and honors section. If I needed a medical specialist and he was available, I would definitely see him. But the variables for this pandemic, are numerous and complex. Much more complex for any one person to understand, no matter how brilliant. And we need much more scientific and medical intel, in order to understand COVID-19 better.
As far as what we âcould have done betterâ or other countries âcould have done betterââŚwell, we are now at war. There will be plenty of time, to do postmortems later.
This Panama ex-pat call replay is very interesting
Donât worry, this unqualified president is not that extreme of a socialist.
Iâm pragmatic. As far as where the medical and scientific experts come from. Whether the country is socialist, communist, capitalist, zombie, etc. In fact, I learn a lot about this pandemic, from watching NHK from Japan and the BBC - both in English.
This Panama ex-pat call replay is very interesting. Better resources available.
Zombies seem to be handling the pandemic better then anyone! What can we learn from them?
Sure as Trump was being impeached he could have warned the country about a possible pandemic & what would the Dems have said?
I donât think DT made a political decision here; as far as I can tell, he got input from Rep. and Dem. scientists - which is an odd thing to say, but from the climate debacle weâve learned that âexpertsâ are only as expert as their weakest link, and for some of them, that link is ideology.
I just heard that the tweet to fire Fauci is bogus, never happened. So now I must go a-seeking to find out.
We can learn a lot from zombies, Steve. But most importantly, you only die once.
As far as what Dr. Fauci mentioned, he talked about his response today - at the COVID-19 briefing. He said he was asked a hypothetical question and was giving a hypothetical answer. I do that ALL the time here, with the phase âhypothetically speakingâ. This way I avoid direct answers, like âdid I do this?â or âhas this actually happened?â, etc. But there is always wisdom hidden, in the answers - of an âaspiringâ Holy Fool. And itâs up to folks here, to read between the lines.
Now back to our zombies.
You think Dr Fauci could be a Zombie? He kinda speaks like one, hypothetically speaking.
