I know this topic is a little old, but this is something that’s also crossed my mind about Judas. In Matthew 19, right after Jesus speaks to the rich man about salvation, He says this to His disciples (verse 19) “Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”
You TWELVE will also sit on thrones? This includes Judas right? Kinda a contrast from Dante’s picture of Judas being elsewhere in eternity. And Jesus speaks about the renewal of all things in the same verse?! Thoughts?
