When You Entered In

When You Entered In

My eyes were blinded by enemies
I was paralyzed by a world of hate

My days were covered in darkness
My fears had sealed my fate

My mind was shattered in pieces
I was crushed and broken inside

Lost in a world of madness
My spirit just wanted to hide

Isolated from the dreams of morning
All my glory had turned to shame

Hurt and forgotten by others
No one remembered my name

Torn to shreds my heart was cold
I was cut by the devil’s cold knife

Until the bright rays of dawn appeared
And you entered into my life

While the glory (beauty) of Christ is more along the lines of the type of beauty of sunsets and children, (not the physical beauty of lust of a woman) nothing really compares to the glory of Christ. The analogs point to a deeper reality of Holy Eros. Holiness is what sets God apart from His creation and creatures. For example, God’s love is a holy love His wisdom a holy wisdom, His Justice a holy Justice. He’s distinct. There are ways we are like God and ways we are not. The desire is a bond. Like one has between parent/child, husband/wife.

Bond = Union

Losing self-conscious shame and anxiety (ego separation) we become alive in the present moment as we are connected (union). We die to self and are resurrected to new life.

I wrote about self consciousness here:
