"666 And All That" by Greg Clarke & John Dickson

I’ve finally sent Greg and John my essay engaging with their book “666 And All That”. I was held up because I needed to do some extra research for footnote 92 (regarding UR’s orthodoxy), and I was hoping the AFES review of The Evangelical Universalist I mention in footnote 95 would’ve been published by now, as I thought they’d be interested in it.

Thank you for taking the time to write 666 And All That. I think it’s an excellent book and particularly liked the focus on Christian hope. I’ve tried to engage with the book honestly, rather than make a systematic case for EU, although I do that a little in the appendices. John has said he will at least read it, so please pray it at least makes sense and ideally prompts him to look into EU further.

Hi Alex just had a quick read of your essay on the train on the way home from work. Thought you did an excellent job in countering the authors quoted statements ( I haven’t read their book).

Thanks! The book is definitely worth reading - it’s fairly short/easy, and overall quite encouraging.
