A few proverbs

I’m finding investigating UR pretty exhausting and suspect that playing one argument against another isn’t a route to Truth, given that Truth is a person:

Proverbs 18:17 (LITV) He who is first in his cause seems just, but his neighbor comes and searches him.

I’ve also found that certain concepts tend to endear themselves to mankind and I wonder if it’s because of this:

Proverbs 22:12 (LITV) The eyes of Jehovah keep knowledge, and He overthrows the words of the treacherous.

Finally, when will this end? I’m fed up.

Proverbs 29:19 (LITV) A servant is not corrected by words; though he discerns, there is no answer.

Yes friend, arguments and counter arguments are not the heart of the matter – not at all. And Truth is the Living Person. But we are limited creatures and have to try and relate, in part, to the living person with minds as well as hearts – especially to communicate to each other. And we learn to love each other in part, I guess, in the knowledge that all of our concepts are limited. We must love with all our heart, our soul and our mind – but we must rest in the heart. And you must rest if exhausted

It’s the glory of a King to conceal a matter. Perhaps it’s our glory to find them out.

Welcome, Tutmoses!

Yes, there is one who is Truth and Life. George MacDonald was convinced that we are become able to understand truth by trying to live according to His teaching.

Blessings on your journey,
