Which academic journals are the most open to publishing universalist papers?
JB
I suspect Theology Today would do so, although up until I let my subscription expire I had never seen them do so over the course of several years. (Despite their title, they’re a quarterly periodical, btw.)
I’m currently working up a submission for First Things, which had a major 3-issue debate between Catholic theologians last year on whether Balthasar was being heretical; but most of their debate concerned whether he was in synch with traditional Catholic teaching (i.e. to what extent was universalism even an option in lieu of various papal proclamations.)
