Christmas tale in Lorraine :-)

So folks, I finally wrote a short trilingual Christmas story taking place in my homeland:
lotharlorraine.wordpress.com/2013/12/24/christmas-story-wihnachtsgeschicht-conte-de-noel/

I am sure that many of you will see a Chrtistian message too

Lovely greetings from Lothar’s son, Lothars Sohn, fils de Lothaire.

Beautiful story, Lothar’s son. Nicely done!
I really enjoyed the story and the message {along with the “illustrations”).

Happy Christmas (to those who celebrate it) and God’s Blessings to All.

Thanks Steve

Christmas will begin in 3:35 minutes in Lorraine/Lothringen.

I am just kind of sad it is pretty warm (11°C) so that we won’t have snow.

Well by now it’s Christmas there so Merry Christmas, Lothar’s Son!

It’s warmed up here as well (3°C) after being nice and cold and having 6 1/2 inches of new snow 2 days ago. Oh, well. Still snow on the ground but slushy. Please tell us about your French and Germanic feasts you mentioned when you get a chance!

Edit: Oh, just realized you meant 3 hrs and 35min. Doh! Merry Christmas anyway!

So this is the Christmas market of Strasbourg, which was (formerly alas) the capital of the German speaking part of France.

Hi Lotharson,

Thanks for the gorgeous photos. What a beautiful city! I was just reading on Wikipedia about Strasbourg’s history and it’s very fascinating and very sad at times. I expect any ancient city’s history has it’s glories and times of despair, but in such a young country (and geographically protected) as the United States, we have not experienced this type of history which I expect informs the outlook of a native (such as yourself) of Alsace-Lorraine.

Joyeux Noel

Steve

Hello lovelies.

I want to call your attention to a trilingual Christmas tale I wrote, with an end very relevant for Universalists

An Easter tale with the same heroes will follow very soon

In the meantime, I’d be interested to learn your thoughts on the first story.

That was really nice mate, enjoyed it. Beautiful way of making a point

And I love that first picture, looks an awesome place

Thanks
