lot of people say “eternal life begins NOW according to the bible”
if they are right is not it a problem for some kind of universalism?

Jesus said,
Eternal life begins when we die to the flesh and live by the life of Christ within us.
Life, in what ever age, begins when we receive it from the Father through Jesus Christ. So no, I don’t think this poses any problem to universal reconciliation. Some receive the life sooner and some later, but all receive it in God’s good time.
