Is Aionos in these phrases of Hippolytus?

Hippolytus:

shall be
sentenced to this **endless punishment **[in the lake of fire].” Later in the same book, Hippolytus
says that “the lovers of iniquity shall be given eternal punishment

He may have used aionios or not used it, it does not matter how he understood or employed the word, but how Christ did.

Why do you focus so much on those who may have taught eternal punishment, whereas the earliest witnesses seem to have believed in conditional immortality, Clement of Rome, Ignatius of Antioch?
