Free-will is a myth

I’m not saying our choices are externally caused.Our choices are determined by something within. Not by external factors. The choice is always done for a reason. There is a reason or desire behind it. Otherwise it becomes spontaneous.

I don’t think any of us disagree with this, Michael. However, it only moves the problem back one step. Is our “reason for making a choice” determined by external causes? Or are such reasons merely influenced externally?
