I downloaded this book onto my Kindle a few months ago. This guy has an interesting style. My main thought though is how reliable his commentaries on Greek words really are. Not being a language scholars elbow I would’t have clue. He does refer to Strongs Concordance and Dr Gary Miller’s Helps Word Study. Anybody read this and have any comments to make? Anthony is clearly a Universalist.
I haven’t read it & am no expert in Greek (I’ve read hundreds of pages on aionios but only started to learn NT Greek this year & am progressing slowly due to other commitments). Anyway, from what I’ve read, Strong’s isn’t perfect but even just using a basic interlinear it’s possible to see words like aionios have been translated in a large variety of ways (including non-eternal words), which implies it’s a not 100% certain it should be eternal in regards to punishment - all a universalist needs to prove
