I don’t know if that’s directed at me but it’s everyone’s country not just people who agree with you. If the country wants Bernie they will vote for Bernie.
Since Trump just gave 3.9 billion to programs helping the mentally ill and homeless I can’t say he’s a Social Darwinist anymore. It was his followers (Trumpsters like Dave B. and Steve) who are the social Darwinists. Like Hitler they think that this is the Christian God or the God of nature. But Christ calls us to transcend nature and rise above our animal instincts. Christ was for the weak outcasts of society. He came for the sick and disabled and elderly. He showed compassion on the needy. Christianity’s core is centered around this. As C.S. Lewis in “Mere Christianity” tells us, the Bible tells everyone to work. One reason for this is so we can have something to help those in need.
Geez, Michael - I don’t endorse any of those things. I’m mainly a supply-demand type of guy, which is what most people are when they are just left alone. And c’mon, I’m not a ‘follower’ - as I’ve said about 10,000 times here - all I can do is judge what a Pres - or anyone - DOES. Is that somehow being a ‘follower’? It’s the Dems that are the mind readers and supposedly know what a person - the Prez - is REALLY thinking.

In this link you will see that democratic socialism isn’t the same as Bernie Sanders Democratic socialism. Though a self described democratic socialist his policies fit modern social democracy. Bernie Sanders is Capitalist and he doesn’t seek to change the country to traditional socialism. Democratic socialism below however does seek to change capitalism to socialism. Read the list here and you will see that Martin Luther King Jr. was a democratic socialist. He’s the enemy. Why does everybody praise him so much if he advocated socialism?

So Bernie, for starters: will use executive order to allow anyone at anytime to enter the country; will make private health insurance illegal; will be in charge of the green new deal; will stop fracking, putting us back at the mercy of Middle East powers. And he has much more up his sleeve.
