One of my Muslim Friends told me AND they believe AND it is written in Koran that in the End Times God will give some people The Power to
Find the Truth about the God’s Plan, I was so excited but it was not the time to tell him about that

it’s a little difficult to tell them about God’s Plan because they believe Jews didn’t crucify Jesus,
although I think many of them are wrong in Koran Interpretation! there can’t be 2 Gods with 2 beliefs.

Matt, you are such a poet. I read through your posts and I am distracted by the rhythm and the images and the emotions to the point that I don’t really know what you were saying when I get to the end of it, but I’m crying, so it must have been good. And then I’ll have to read it again, to get the gist. I think it “goes in,” though – subconsciously – like a song. I’m so glad you have a lady like Kaylin, to give you an anchor, and someone to hold on with in the storms.

Bumping this topic, because I’ve just been rereading Bobx3’s last post in the thread and it’s really good - well worth another look, or a first look for anyone who missed it.

Well thanks Johnny – and Cindy too. Some credit to the provocative question too however!!

In truth however, I do tend to get discouraged by the apparent disinterest of the world – I mean our Christian world! – in the great truths that so captivate us here as Universalists. And I get impatient. Which is not a quality of Gods!!
And I recall CS Lewis (rough paraphrase here) comments to the effect of How do you defend truth? Well, how do you “defend” a lion? Why, you let it out of it’s cage!

UR is “out of it’s cage” my friends. And the angst we have about it’s tiny footprint upon the earth is not shared by God!
Rob Bell is not perfect by any stretch, but he got this right…

And sometimes what I need to do is be silent, stand back, and just watch God in action. (Check out Ex 14:14 “The Lord will fight for you while you keep silent”)
He’s quite busy you know.

At any rate, my growing conviction is that because of the already won victory of the Cross, God is empowered to unleash upon man those things which we formerly imagined were violations of our “freedom”.
What WE need to be doing is go out and simply watch as He does this. Be faithful yes. Be good witnesses yes.
But there shall be NO doubt whose work this is…
