Jesus, The Son of God in the Old Testament

Hello,
I wanted to know if the OT sees the Messiah as a divine person?
How did the disiples of Jesus know the term of Son of God?
Where does it come from?
What does the OT say about it?
Thank you very much…
: Dani

Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him. (Psalm 2:12, NKJV)

Jesus is the God of the OT. YHWH = “Behold the Nail, Behold the Hand” according to the very ancient pictographic meaning of the letters.

We see this from the NT end of things too. When Pontius Pilate wrote “Jesus [of] Nazareth King [of the] Jews” on a plaque to be placed on the Cross, he wrote it in Latin, Greek, and Hebrew. The initials of the four Hebrew words on the plaque spell out YHWH. Now you know why the Jews didn’t like what Pilate wrote.
