John

“He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.”

This amazed me. But I don´t know if this reffers to all who accept the sacrifice of Jesus or all the people who don´t believe as well. Is John talking about that gentiles and not only jews can choose inmortality?

“We have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, and especially of those who believe.”

This is another passage that surprised me. Is he referring to those unbelievers that not accept Jesus?

There are more verses like these?

it sounds to me like on face value, plain reading, he is saying that all are covered by the blood. certain orthodox groups attest to this, but reckon we still have a choice to make.

i don’t know if reality is so dualistic in nature as that…and also the Bible is unclear as to when or if there’s a limit on chances to repent (apart from a few pre-destruction warnings in the OT, which appear to relate to physical death only)
