I am just a third of the way through a book By J.Craigventer titled: Life at the Speed of Light. It’s a history of micro biology and genetics. Not a normal book for these pages but I was astounded. Here is the man who was the leader of the team that sequenced the human genome and I get the impression he would not believe in intelligent design yet the very figures he is playing with shout any other view than ID as quite ridiculous. Its a well written book for all that and quite engrossing. Chris
That’s interesting…i thought that biology as a field (because it’s a bit narrow in its scope, i suppose) is usually less prone to admitting any sentient creative energy behind life…usually Physics is more open to this, from what i’d heard.
though i thought one of the blokes behind mapping the human genome was a Christian…but it’s possible i’ve gotten that mixed up.
