I know I can’t earn Your grace/
Maybe I deserve my fate but please don’t turn Your face/
Don’t want to eternally burn in Hades’ lake of bursting flames, squirming in pain, would rather have my sin purged away/
I hope that my repentance is just a U-turn away/
That divine correction will change me internally/
And that Christ’s sacrifice is eventually effectual for everyone universally/
I know self-discipline is the minimum curriculum to learn but the burden’s great!/
