“When we begin to glimpse the reality of God, the natural reaction is to worship him. Not to have that reaction is a fairly sure sign that we haven’t yet really understood who he is or what he’s done.” - N.T. Wright-
Easy is instant gratification. Hard is a lifetime of satisfaction."-- Author Unknown
“It’s good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it’s good, too, to check up once in a while and make sure that you haven’t lost the things that money can’t buy.”-- George Lorimer
“But all the while, there was one thing we most needed even from the start, and certainly will need from here on out into the New Jerusalem: the ability to take our freedom seriously and act on it, to live not in fear of mistakes but in the knowledge that no mistake can hold a candle to the love that draws us home. My repentance, accordingly, is not so much for my failings but for the two-bit attitude toward them by which I made them more sovereign than grace. Grace - the imperative to hear the music, not just listen for errors - makes all infirmities occasions of glory.” -Robert Farrar Capon-
Capon certainly has a way of making his point elegantly.
"Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, his blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we’re a free people—free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds. And not just barely free, either. Abundantly free! He thought of everything, provided for everything we could possibly need, letting us in on the plans he took such delight in making. He set it all out before us in Christ, a long-range plan in which everything would be brought together and summed up in him, everything in deepest heaven, everything on planet earth. It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone." -MSG-
"Jesus came to raise the dead. He did not come to teach the teachable; He did not come to improve the improvable; He did not come to reform the reformable. None of those things works. -Robert F. Capon-
The one most important thing is what we are talking inside of us about our own self and about others. The next, how we are communicating with others. Are we adding to our positive energies or surrendering to negative vibrations? Are we just ageing or growing? Are we conscious about the ultimate goal of self awareness? Are we happy with us? With others? Are we selfish or becoming more available to God to work through us for his mission on earth?
Yes, time for self reflection!

“Age is whatever you think it is. You are as old as you think you are.”-- Muhammad Ali
Whatever your external situations are, don’t repeat the same old patterns of reacting, resisting, screaming, it would only worsen the situations and deplete your life energy. Meditate and compassionately work to strengthen your emotional immunity to prove that come what may, my self love and positive attitude will take me to a new life of good health and cheerfulness, love and compassion, fearlessness and freedom.
Love thyself!

“Why, what is to live? Not to eat and drink and breathe,—but to feel the life in you down all the fibres of being, passionately and joyfully.” -Elizabeth Barrett Browning
“What frightens me is that men are content with what is not life at all.” -Eliz. B. Browning
“Confidence… thrives on honesty, on honor, on the sacredness of obligations, on faithful protection and on unselfish performance. Without them it cannot live.”-- Franklin D. Roosevelt
Make sure you don’t lose an opportunity to appreciate your loved ones. Everyone wants to be recognized and appreciated. Everyone feels he or she is very important. Don’t waste time brooding over your own nagging problems, your brooding is the breeding ground for more such rubbish to fill your mind. Open your window, look out, befriend and involve yourself with acts of compassion and activities that will keep you busy with something more creative and fulfilling. After all a day lost is a day lost! You won’t get it back! Why not earn more happiness by being cheerful and positive about yourself and the world around?

“The truth taught by Jesus Christ is the right way to live. It is not primarily a religion, not even the best religion, but God Himself explaining in terms that men can readily grasp how life is meant to be lived.” - J.B. Phillips-
“Ideas are like rabbits. You get a couple and learn how to handle them, and pretty soon you have a dozen.”-- John Steinbeck
“Those in whom the Spirit comes to live are God’s new Temple. They are, individually and corporately, places where heaven and earth meet.” - N.T. Wright-
The more you know the more you know how little you know. Knowledge that gives arrogance is ignorance. Knowledge that inflates ego and infuses hate, jealousy and frustration based on competition is at the root of all miseries in human life. True knowledge is humbling. It should help to realise the emptiness of all efforts that end in miseries. The Rishis of yore taught the art of manifesting innate divinity that is the essence of true education. Just see the fallacy of modern education and the plight of the world!!! ~~Bodhi

"He who always abides in the present now, in him does God beget his Son without ceasing. - Meister Eckhart.

“Begin challenging your own assumptions. Your assumptions are your windows on the world. Scrub them off every once in a while, or the light won’t come in.”-- Alan Alda
Random thoughts, excess thoughts, create a mess in the mind. Today everyone seems to be under thought attacks (worries, anxieties, depressions). The only way out is to slow down the thoughts. Sit quietly and see if you can find the source of your thoughts. Ego keeps triggering these thoughts. Until you meditate upon your breaths you will not experience what it is to have less thoughts and its impact upon your instinctive ego driven life style.
It is not money, it is meditation that will give you what you are frantically trying to achieve in life.
