Quote for today

Psalms 41

Blessed is the one who considers the poor!
In the day of trouble the Lord delivers him;

the Lord protects him and keeps him alive;
he is called blessed in the land;
you do not give him up to the will of his enemies.

The Lord sustains him on his sickbed;
in his illness you restore him to full health

“Sheer scholarship alone cannot reveal to us the gospel of grace. We must never allow the authority of books, institutions, or leaders to replace the authority of knowing Jesus Christ personally and directly. When the religious views of others interpose between us and the primary experience of Jesus as the Christ, we become unconvicted and unpersuasive travel agents handing out brochures to places we have never visited.” -Brennan Manning-

Indeed a time is created for the whole of humanity to introspect and do a deeper heart searching to find a solution not just for the virus but to find the vaccine to protect the sovereignty of each nation, each citizen, and to identify the real enemies who are sabotaging peace and harmony from behind the screen. It is the dire need for every individual to collectively participate to bring a change both inner and outer for survival of this planet not just humans.

Humans, locked in their houses, have given freedom to all species of life to celebrate as never before!

It only takes a split second to smile and forget, yet to someone that needed it, it can last a lifetime."-- Steve Maraboli

“The way of trust is a movement into obscurity, into the undefined, into ambiguity, not into some predetermined, clearly delineated plan for the future. The next step discloses itself only out of a discernment of God acting in the desert of the present moment. The reality of naked trust is the life of the pilgrim who leaves what is nailed down, obvious, and secure, and walks into the unknown without any rational explanation to justify the decision or guarantee the future. Why? Because God has signaled the movement and offered it his presence and his promise.” -Brennan Manning-

“The most powerful thing that can happen in the place of prayer is that you yourself become the prayer. You leave the prayer room able as Jesus’ hands and feet on earth. This is what it means to pray continually (without ceasing), to see with the eyes of Jesus and to hear with His ears with every waking moment.” -.Brennan Manning-

“Religion is the possibility of the removal of every ground of confidence except confidence in God alone.” -Karl Barth-

Imagine what good you can do for yourself during these days of lock down and home confinement. For today let me tell you, just spend time cleaning up old unused clutters from your home. This decluttering would help you to breathe and deny every negative energy that can create fear and frustration in your life. Yes, create space by keeping only a few things you truly need to live. Discard everything else that you have not been using but are occupying your house space. Let fresh energies greet you. That will take you to next stage I will share tomorrow.

“The dominant characteristic of an authentic spiritual life is the gratitude that flows from trust — not only for all the gifts that I receive from God, but gratitude for all the suffering. Because in that purifying experience, suffering has often been the shortest path to intimacy with God.” -Brennan Manning-

“The deeper we grow in the Spirit of Jesus Christ, the poorer we become - the more we realize that everything in life is a gift. The tenor of our lives becomes one of humble and joyful thanksgiving. Awareness of our poverty and ineptitude causes us to rejoice in the gift of being called out of darkness into wondrous light and translated into the kingdom of God’s beloved Son.” -Brennan Manning-

Many of you have been living in your houses but now is the time to transform your house into a peaceful HOME. After decluttering your house the next most important thing to do is to declutter your mind. Instead of spending more time on Corona news around the world, withdraw from all news sources and stop strengthening the energy of the dreadful virus by not thinking or talking about it. Find more time to be with yourself. Sit and watch your mind in play. Allow all the fears and negative emotions to surface. Witness, witness, witness. Let them get released from your subconscious mind. No effort needed to declutter mind. Just witness and the unwanted will be released creating space for health and wellness. Pray for the suffering humanity from your quiet heart.

Om Shanti, Om Shanti, Om Shanti !

“Remind thyself, in the darkest moments, that every failure is only a step toward success, every detection of what is false directs you toward what is true, every trial exhausts some tempting form of error, and every adversity will only hide, for a time, your path to peace and fulfillment.”

“To follow Jesus implies that we enter into a way of life that is given character and shape and direction by the one who calls us. To follow Jesus means picking up rhythms and ways of doing things that are often unsaid but always derivative from Jesus, formed by the influence of Jesus. To follow Jesus means that we can’t separate what Jesus is saying from what Jesus is doing and the way that he is doing it. To follow Jesus is as much, or maybe even more, about feet as it is about ears and eyes.” -Eugene H. Peterson-
