Quote for today

The light of God surrounds me;

The love of God enfolds me;

The power of God protects me;

The presence of God watches over me.

Wherever I am, God is!

James Dillet Freeman

And here’s an Eastern Prayer for World Peace:

May Everyone, Everywhere Be Happy.
Let Each And Every Heart Be Filled
With Love, Peace And Joy.
May All Miseries Be Destroyed.
And, May Each And Every Soul
Thirst To Reach God.
Om Peace, Peace, Peace

Why do you say quarantine? Sounds negative. It is a golden opportunity for quiet-time to meditate upon the purpose of human birth and the mystery of birth and death! Let fear of death go for ever!~~Bodhi

“The Christ within who is our hope of glory is not a matter of theological debate or philosophical speculation. He is not a hobby, a part-time project, a good theme for a book, or a last resort when all human effort fails. He is our life, the most real fact about us. He is the power and wisdom of God dwelling within us.” -Brennan Manning-

“The secret of the mystery is: God is always greater. No matter how great we think Him to be, His love is always greater.” -Brennan Manning-

“Out with everything you don’t need – the junk, clutter, hang-ups and hurts – and in with the fresh, fantastic, unencumbered life you’ve always wanted.”-- Oprah

He who is enslaved to his lusts is simply not free to pursue a truer and higher life. - MavPhil

May the blessing of light be on you - light without and light within.
May the blessed sunlight shine on you like a great peat fire,
so that stranger and friend may come and warm himself at it.
And may light shine out of the two eyes of you,
like a candle set in the window of a house,
bidding the wanderer come in out of the storm.
And may the blessing of the rain be on you,
may it beat upon your Spirit and wash it fair and clean,
and leave there a shining pool where the blue of Heaven shines,
and sometimes a star.

“The deep things of God are like a vast ocean into which none of us has done more than dip his/her toes…” -unknown-

"Imagine that you go to the ocean, take off your shoes and socks, and wade in ankle-deep. It’s true that you are in only ankle-deep, but it’s also true that you are in the ocean. If you bend down, touch your fingertips to the water, then touch them to your tongue, you taste salt. You feel the wind in your face. You look out at the horizon where the waterline meets the sky. You look down the shoreline. You feel the water about your ankles and, yes, you are in the ocean. In order to get in deeper, you simply need to move forward and it will get plenty deep soon enough. Awakening the spiritual path is like this. We have but to remain humbly open to the first stirrings of our journey into God, and our journey, will, in God’s good time, get plenty deep, soon enough.” -Rich Lewis-

“People do not always make breakthroughs because they refused to quit. Sometimes they make them because they know when to quit. When they realize that enough is enough, that old patterns aren’t serving them, that it’s time to repack their bags.”-- Richard J. Leider

“My trust in God flows out of the experience of his loving me, day in and day out, whether the day is stormy or fair, whether I’m sick or in good health, whether I’m in a state of grace or disgrace. He comes to me where I live and loves me as I am.” -Brennan Manning-

“A saint is not someone who is good but who experiences the goodness of God.” -Brennan Manning-

“The story goes that a public sinner was excommunicated and forbidden entry to the church. He took his woes to God. ‘They won’t let me in, Lord, because I am a sinner.’ ‘What are you complaining about?’ said God. 'They won’t let Me in either.” -Brennan Manning-

“And Grace calls out, ‘You are not just a disillusioned old man who may die soon, a middle-aged woman stuck in a job and desperately wanting to get out, a young person feeling the fire in the belly begin to grow cold. You may be insecure, inadequate, mistaken or potbellied. Death, panic, depression, and disillusionment may be near you. But you are not just that. You are accepted.’ Never confuse your perception of yourself with the mystery that you really are accepted.” -Brennan Manning-

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure - Benjamin Franklin

There is no medicine better than laughter. Blessed are they who can laugh like a child with every cell of the body vibrating with the rest of the universe. When we laugh it is a direct message to the cells of our body “Hey! Join me in the celebration, let’s enjoy total health”.

Let us not forget, laughter is to say to God, “Thank You”.

“When I look back on all these worries, I remember the story of the old man who said on his deathbed that he had had a lot of trouble in his life, most of which had never happened.” - Winston Churchill-

“When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be. When I let go of what I have, I receive what I need.”-- Tao Te Ching

“I would rather be what God chose to make me than the most glorious creature that I could think of; for to have been thought about, born in God’s thought, and then made by God, is the dearest, grandest and most precious thing in all thinking.” - George MacDonald-

Around 40,000 Americans die each year in traffic deaths. We could save not just one life but tens of thousands by lowering the speed limit to 25 miles per hour on all highways and roads. We tolerate the highway carnage because we value the time saved from driving fast more.
Heather Macdonald

Dear Heather: we could all go back to riding horses, but alas, some of us fall off & break our necks.

We could get our bicycles out again, but alas, those dopey speeders will run us over.

Breathe consciously. Take deep breaths, exhale long mindful breaths. Feel the vibrations of Mother Earth, feel the whole universe breathing in and through you. Each breath of gratitude and awareness can only boost your natural immune system as nothing else. Feed the cells with prana and also with thoughts of wellness and vibrant health. Send forth vibrations of health and wellness all over the world. Affirm the grace of the positive divine light of God.

All is well.

Dr. E.W. Bullinger, The Companion Bible

“We have not an impotent Father, or a disappointed Christ, or a defeated Holy Ghost, as is so commonly preached; but an omnipotent Father, an all-victorious Christ, and an almighty Holy Spirit, able to break the hardest heart and subdue the stoutest will.”

“The confessing church of American Ragamuffins needs to join Magdalene and Peter in witnessing that Christianity is not primarily a moral code but a grace-laden mystery; it is not essentially a philosophy of love but a love affair; it is not keeping rules with clenched fists but receiving a gift with open hands.” -Brennan Manning-

I was looking at a crane, a great teacher indeed! It stood at one place without the slightest movement of the body, eyes fixed inside the water looking for fish. Oh! If only we learn from nature we would break all shackles of ignorance of fear and neurosis and live as freely as them without ever disturbing the balance of nature. Corona has come to show us that our civilization did not learn the fundamentals of co-existence. Without any localized climate catastrophe the whole world is trembling in fear of the unknown future!

Let us learn the truth either we live in harmony or nature will teach us harsher lessons!
