Robin's video clip answers to popular questions

, Rachel Held Evans"]We’re taking advantage of our “Ask a…” series to talk with some of today’s leading theologians about the difficult topic of hell…

Today, I’d like to introduce Robin Parry, who describes himself as an evangelical universalist. Robin holds the view that one day God will reconcile all people to himself through Jesus Christ.

**If you have a question about universalism for Robin, leave it in the comment section. Be sure to utilize the “like” feature so we can get a sense of what questions are of most interest to you. After 24-hours, I’ll pose seven of the most popular questions to Robin and post his responses next week.**Sounds like fun

Robin’s responses (video clips, with transcripts) :sunglasses:

Also after Robin answers the questions, it would be a good opportunity for us to answer those who miss out.

That’s wonderful

Robin what is your take on The Cross and penal Substitution. I have read Bobs Post on this and I find myself rather confused about what I always thought was a fairly clear issue. ie that Christ died for our sins Rom 5 6-8. Chris

Great stuff. Liked his answers to the questions

Has that been done yet in the threads, or should a representative of the forum go for it here?

I’m not asking so much whether you think sufficient answers were (somehow) given in the threads, as to whether you think the topic was chewed over so much that no one would really be interested in a more comprehensive reply here.

I haven’t had a chance to go back yet but intend to try to at least respond to a few unanswered questions. Anyone is welcome to do this (there over a 150 comments last time I checked - I would suggest there, unless it’s a particularly interesting question & they want to dedicate a thread to it here. Good practice, & who knows someone might read it & find it helpful

Was the link to Robin’s responses posted yet? Here it is, in case . . .

My favorite is the one where Robin answered the question (inevitable): “What about people who have suffered horrors? Aren’t the perpetrators to suffer any punishment for their acts?” (I reworded it since I’ve left the link now.) Well worth listening to; it’s the fourth one down.

Yes, he was good in answering that. He comes across as a sincere and humble guy.
