They, like the rest of us, will endure the just torment of their sins until they come to their senses and leave them all behind. There is one narrow road into heaven. Jesus led the way. If you want to experience resurrection, first you must die to sin.

So, if Christian Universalism is true, people like the late PLO terrorist Yasir Arafat(the devil) and
Osama Bin Laden, got off Scott free, they NEED to be Punished,
Jeff, for someone who said earlier you’re a staunch believer in Christian Universalism, this is a very strange comment to make. A Christian ultra-universalist would not think they need to be punished, and a Christian purgatorial universalist would not say they get off scott-free if Christian Universalism is true.
Much less would someone claiming to believe Christian Universalism is true post a remark of this sort in a “Discussion Affirmative” category.
Our tolerance for trolls and flamebaiters is low, although we try to give everyone a chance. Fifteen short mostly incoherent posts in the space of an hour is pushing it. If you’re serious I recommend calming down and taking things more slowly, so as to think out what you’re trying to say better.

It deeply saddens me to see there is a hidden thirst and hunger for vengence from christians today. Have they not read that the apostle Paul was and still is the worst sinner of all?
i need punishing too, and yet God has chosen to show me mercy.
if God’s love and grace are so great that they could cover the evil of Margaret Thatcher, George Bush, Calligula, Constantine and all the rest of history’s monsters, then i see no difficulty in them covering the evil of other people, including Bin Laden.
even the victims of those people would be hardpressed, in light of God’s grace in their own lives, to insist on “punishment” for them once we’re all in front of God.
