I started reading a series on salvation from a blog written by Ted Grimsrud (peacetheology.net/). I’m in the middle of reading his primal account of salvation in the Old Testament that presents Justice as primarily restorative (as opposed to retributive). Whilst I am not sure he is taking it in a universalist direction, it is certainly presenting a more merciful picture than we are used to hearing:
