The Importance of Hell

redeemer.com/news_and_events … _hell.html

Or is it more important to be correct about Hell?

Still sick today. But I recommend this article as an exercise for analysis and commentary. Three wide-scale considerations (out of several more focused considerations that could also be addressed):

1.) Does this author teach doctrines disavowing orthodox trinitarian theology? Avowing ortho-trin? Both!?

2.) How effective is the author at reporting everything Jesus is reported to say about hell in the Gospel accounts? (ex., what does the author have to say about Mk 9?)

3.) How consistent is the author in avowing or disavowing annihilation of the person in hell?

You know, if Hell is real then God has chosen certain people to freely choose Hell, so we can’t really do anything about it anyway. So, no, being correct about Hell, if it exists, doesn’t really matter. I just can’t seem to avoid this conclusion lol
