Hello,
I wanted to let everyone know that I unsubscribed to the EU facebook page and some of you on facebook because I was seeing a lot of anger and disrespect toward those who don’t hold similar beliefs and didn’t want others outside EU to be hurt or misunderstand the concept of love in EU. Besides new EU friends most of these people I have known for many years and don’t want something I am a part of to be hurtful to them unnecessarily. I know we all struggle with hurt and anger at times so, I am not taking issue with the human factor here but, I feel responsible for what is posted on my wall for others to read. I really hope together we can overcome the hurt and anger of the past and be ok with others who don’t believe the same. I don’t have any ill will toward anyone here. I just would like EU to be represented in a good light of love than airing issues that I think would be better dealt with here on the forum. I want to be honest and say, I have read a lot that sounds like what we would see as fundamentalism in others, which I think many good biblical movements end up as. I hope you all can understand and that my decision brings no hurt to anyone. May the peace of God rule in your hearts! Looking forward to continuing to lurk and participate in discussion here. I can understand your feelings on this. Just so you know, the EU facebook page is set to “secret” so people looking at your wall shouldn’t see the group posts unless they’re members of that group too.

Honestly, I’ve seen very little disrespect or anger outside of what is validly due, or validly due in the form of genuine criticism.

Hi Lefein,
I know much of it may be valid and I’m fine with a lively conversation, I was concerned that people who don’t know about EU would view it as anger toward those who believe in ECT or other things. I guess I’m kind of soft on ECT people because I can understand how hard it must be to overcome. I would like people to see the great ideas of EU without feeling slammed if they don’t agree.
