…indicates that a lot of texts show {ep} as a marginal note, but not in the text itself, including Aleph, A, K, L, P, W, Gamma, Delta, Phi, a handful of other Greek unicals and miniscules, the Syriac texts generally, and Maj.

But “Aleph” is Sinaiticus. I found the passage in my copy of Sinaiticus, and "επ’ " occurs right in the text itself.

Well, that’s why I’m asking. (I do actually have that collection of photocopies of all pre-400 texts somewhere, though I’ve kind-of misplaced it I think.)

I hate it when the apparatus is pretty grossly marked up wrong. Though “grossly” is relative here of course; the difference in meaning either way is negligible under the circumstances. Still.
