Why Didn't God Stop Adam From Eating The Fruit?

I gave up on teaching people that way, because I used to provide all the links, references and Scriptures for people to look up but it started fights and divisions and other things.

If that causes you to stumble, then ignore me.

The internet is huge and these things are now easily searchable and I don’t have to have an responsibility or onus to teach anyone. The onus is that I know what I am talking about and what I say can be found by those who are diligently searching. Might not make sense to your right now, but Jesus didn’t quote where he got his information, he just gave it.

Jesus absolutely did quote where he got his information:
John 7:16-17
16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, **whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
**
Obviously the onus is you don’t know what your talking about when you imply Jesus didn’t quote where he got his information. If you’re wrong here, where else could you be wrong?

Revival, you do what you do best… Not read what a person says, and assume what he meant and try to start a fight.

Jesus never told people what chapter and verse, and what dictionary he got his information. He quoted scripture without need of saying “Turn to your bibles to Isaiah 24:1” The onus is on Jesus to know that what He said can be found in the Scriptures. The responsibility is to the student to study and prove themselves an approve workman.

2 Timothy 2:15
Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth.

Next time have something factual and without fallacy.

 you said Jesus didn’t quote where he got his information, he just gave it. You are wrong. Jesus absolutely did quote where he got his info, he just didn’t give it.

You took it out of context, but that is what BAaron’s do.

receiving correction is one of the hardest things to do, huh universalist?

There was nothing to correct. You don’t follow the stream of discussion, you but in and think you are correct. It is what you do, it is the reason you keep getting in trouble over and over.

What AUniversalist is saying, is that Jesus didn’t carry around a citation bibliography with page numbers, article titles, and dashed T’s and dotted I’s all in place.

In other words; Jesus didn’t cite as medical journals and cases in court of law cite things. Such citation etiquette was not even invented yet. AUniversalist was not referring to Jesus’ allusions and quotation of scripture (which did not have verse and chapter number added, I might point out).

I’m really not interested in starting fights. But I dislike relying on hearsay, and often things are difficult to find.

No worries, but I agree with you. You should always reference scripture to support what you are saying but you should also search the bible yourself and pray over it too see what the person is saying is true.
