and thus earns your regular enthusiasm about repeatedly posting Breitbart material.
Yes, why not hope Trumpâs success can compare with Obamaâs?
Trumpâs defense team sliced & diced the Dems made up impeachment charges. They demonstrated 3 key points among many others
Ukraine received the javelins , they were not part of the aid held up for 5 weeks
The Ukrainians didnât even know any aid was ever held up until there was an article in Political on Aug 29th & then they started contacting State Dept officials by e-mail & text. So they were not even aware of any supposed delay so how could they feel threatened or pressured.
Ambassador Sonderland presumed and assumed aid was held up because of a quid pro quo, he was never told that or overheard or received any direct conversation. He testified to this numerous times to the House.
What on earth do you mean by that comment, Bob? Is it simply a way of telling Dave that you disagree with him? You really need to explain how Obama out-performed Trump rather than simply say the equivalent of âmy dad is better than your dadâ.

Sorry I left you confused. The comparative success Dave suggested in context was electoral. That if Obama could win reelection with low job approval ratings, thereâs good reason to hope Trump can also make a winning case.
Why would learning in August that their military aid had been frozen mean that Zelensky and Ukraine could feel no pressure to provide what Trump wanted?
Isnât the evidence ample that they were deeply concerned about this and were thus scrambling to plan to meet his demands (before the evidence of Trumpâs scheme was exposed)?
Why?? Because you canât feel pressured if you donât even know an issue even exists which would create any pressure.
Scrambling to meet his demands?? Where do you get your info from. They didnât do anything and they deny there was any pressure and they only found out the very end of August, and only from Politico not from Trump.
Plus Trump has held up aid for many countries for many different reasons which he has repeatedly explained, not enough participation from other countries or various other reasons where he feels the USA is taken advantage of.
BTW the big issue previously was the javelins & how could Trump hold that up with Russia threatening to invade , but the javelins were not held up. Thatâs right the javelins that Obama never permitted were never held up. If Obama had allowed javelins then Russia might not have walked into Crimea.

They certainly felt heavy pressure when they did at the least learn by August (as you admit) of his demand for continuing our support. Most of Trumpâs reps testified they confirmed this demand to Ukraine, and that while Zelensky resisted doing it, he ended up scrambling to seek to satisfy Trump.
I got all my info from watching the sworn testimony presented. Besides the transcripts many indications of trying to appease him, after many discussions about what Trump demanded, they even scheduled a public appearance on CNN heâd insisted on to assure him about going after Biden.
I donât know anyone who watched the testimony and cross examination who doubts any of these basic facts. Did you watch the hearings and the united testimony on this?
I work full time so I catch summaries here and there, but I watched Trumpâs lawyers finally after months of attacks by the weasels Schiff/Nadler/Pelosi/Schumer & CNN & MSNBC etc , finally get the opportunity to defend Trump.
Keep in mind most Dems politicians equate someoneâs opinion as equaling fact, so what factual action did Zelinsky take to satisfy Trump?
As I explained above, it ended up that he never did satisfy what Trump kept pressuring him for. Trump ended up withdrawing that demand and releasing aid only after his scheme to extort Ukraine had been exposed and he was threatened with congressional investigation of what he was caught doing.
But as I noted, after numerous discussions with Trumpâs reps of what kind of announcement about investigations would satisfy his quid pro quo demand, Ukraine was told that just putting it in writing or in general terms would not release the aid. Thus Zelensky was so desperate to keep U.S. support for their war of survival, he agreed to schedule the demanded public TV announcement on CNN that he would go specifically after Biden (and only cancelled that extorted move when Trumpâs efforts to bribe him were exposed before the CNN date).

This abuse of power thing is just made up. Dems want to overturn 2016 and are already making excuses for 2020 - Schiff: "we cannot trust electionsâ OoooohâŚthe American people cannot be trusted. Except maybe California (which explains a lot of the comments around here) and the East Coast.

Hey for a good time, try this: Peter Schweitzerâs new book Profiles in Corruption. Those who are so heavily invested in Trumpâs bad behavior should read about their current crop of progressive heroes. Gives a lot more perspective.
Such sheer assertions do not answer any of the overwhelming contrary evidence. Most GOP senators donât dispute the alleged facts, evidenced by the many who donât feel totally intimidated who then can even openly declare that what Trump did was wrong, but not requiring impeachment. I appreciate these many conservatives who donât play games regarding the undisputed events.
We need a song or two, to celebrate Trumpâs âsuperstarâ legal team.

This is fabrication, the only testimony was various people giving their opinions about this or that. The actual players Trump and Zelensky both deny this. There was no scheme to extort Ukraine & as i said they only found out about a delay from Politico on 8/29 and received the aid very shortly afterwards.
Interesting scheme when the supposed victim of extortion is unaware of it.
