This is probably the same Victor David Hansen at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victor_Davis_Hanson. If not, then let me know.
I’m familiar with what the “left wing propagandists” and “right wring propagandists” - no matter “how educated” or “with outstanding credentials” - normally have to say. I just don’t jump on either bandwagon, as you and Steve might - with the “right wing propagandists” .
And if I watch the “expert panelists”, on BOTH CNN and Fox News … don’t I receive a sampling, of both the “left wing propagandists” and “right wring propagandists” perspectives?
Now let me throw out a “hypothetical” question - I have pondered recently. Is it possible?
To have “salvation”,as defined by the Christian faith (taken into account, the differences in Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox and Protestant perspectives)?
To have “enlightenment”, as folks in the East - see it?
And to “walk in balance” - as folks in Native American spirituality - see it?
And if the “hypothetical” answer is “yes”, then wouldn’t such a person see things, in an entirely different perspective?
But I honor the fact, regarding how you and Steve - see things. Just as I honor the fact, that some folks here…see things via “non-traditional” or “minority” theological viewpoints.
Recently, I was a jurist - in a trial. The defense presented a very compelling defense. Full of emotional appeal and stage theatrics. The plaintiff’s attorney was logical and straightforward. But I was able to see through, the emotional and stage theatrics stuff. And so did the rest - of the jurists. People are usually more perceptive - then folks give them credit for.
Perhaps some of these “Right Wing experts”, can comment on the BBC story - I’ve shared today on Twitter:
Is Canada’s official residence in Ireland haunted?
