How To Live Under An Unqualified President by John Piper

I’m sure we can work ‘666’ into his name somewhere

It has already been attempted at Antichrist Trump’s 666 NWO One World Religion

And also at PROOF: 666 is the Number & Mark of ANTICHRIST TRUMP

You all need to tread lightly! After all:
"WASHINGTON, D.C.—Amid mounting pressure from his evangelical support base to take a stand on the issue, President Trump went on record Wednesday morning as fully affirming his personal belief in the doctrine of the inerrancy of President Trump.

Trump rejected theories that described his words as man-made and imperfect, and instead fully affirmed both the infallibility and the inerrancy of all of his statements, to the relief of conservative evangelicals everywhere.

“To be clear, I don’t simply believe my words are inspired or divinely breathed, but rather that they are completely and totally inerrant in the original context in which they were spoken,” Trump said in a press conference. “I reject all of that namby-pamby progressive Trumpology that says my words merely contain some kind of divine truth but might have some factual errors. That’s dangerous stuff. Heresy, really. The worst!” - BabylonBee satire

Seriously, Dave? Whoever the Anti-Christ was, is or will be…will CERTAINLY say anything, to cast suspicion - off of him or her.

My wife and I were talking last night about Mr Trump. She is a fan and thinks that his antics are for the good, that the US needed to be shaken a bit, I agree to a point but have to say I would do things different if it was me.

At the end of the day, the DON has done nothing (wrong) other presidents have not done. Somehow his lack of swagger has put him in the cross hairs of the opposition. But my pay check is bigger.

And there is a lot more to this politics thing than meets the eye, at least my eye.

I’m waiting to see how the summit goes, with Kim Jong-un. This is as important for me, as preparing for the tribulation and the Zombie Apocalypse. Now that Don has the football for four years - at least. Let’s see what he does with it. Maybe he will hit a zombie, in the head with it.

Oh, No. This football zombie is wearing a 666 helmet. I hope it’s not connected with Don.

No problem, qaz! No matter what he does wrong, he can always pardon himself.

Isn’t that a beautiful thing?

I assume you mean pardon himself, Dave. And NOT letting financial institutions, have a free run. It would be an interesting show if he did pardon himself. That means both Republicans and Democrats alike, will initiate impeachment proceedings. But even more interesting, the legal “experts” are divided… over whether such an action is legal - or not. Which would mean court challenges to this action…all the way up, to the supreme count. It would be more entertaining than any reality TV show.

An interesting point I heard on the radio today - US taxpayers are subsidizing the free health care in some very wealthy ‘socialist’ countries.
The reasoning goes like this: how can those countries afford free health care, shorter work hours, all the goodies we all wish we had?
Because they have little to no military to fund. Why? Because the US has the military, which tax payers here fund, and that military defends those countries. But, it leaves us without resources to give away the freebies.
I don’t know the answer to that - we do protect much of the world and probably should not stop doing that - but these countries (Germany etc) are very wealthy and should be bearing more of the defense burden, don’t you think?

It is my opinion that President Trump should be imPEACHed because he is imPEARed.

Well, yes and no - Dave. Let’s take a couple of countries, I wouldn’t mind setting in - at least part-time.

First of all, the US is NOT the top of the mountain, as far as health care is concerned. It is in the mid-thirties, according to the World Health Organization.

  • My first choice is Panama. They have hospitals in Panama City, that are up to US standards. And they cost a fraction, of what our system changes - even for specialists. But who really wants to invade or attack Panama? Would the US EVER need to interview? Perhaps never. And they use the US dollar and have an excellent package of retirement incentives - for folks from the US and Europe

.

  • My second choice is Japan. Where I really like Japanese culture. And folks with long-term visas can get into their health system (for around $350 per year). If we can solve the issues with North Korea, then China is the only issue with Japan.

If the military is the ONLY issue, then why is the US the ONLY country…without a universal, health care system?

And, for the record. Knowing Spanish or Japanese, wouldn’t be an issue for me.

Oh, yes. Here’s zombie evolution.

You said ‘Yes’ also?
BTW Japan pays us for our military presence, which makes it cheap for them compared to building a huge military of their own. So that is not a good example.
While news reports say Mattis is unlikely to demand more financial support during his trip to Japan and South Korea, there seems to be no consensus between Tokyo and Washington as to what percentage of the financial burden has been borne by Japan since 2004.

According to an annual report titled Allied Contributions to the Common Defense published by the U.S. Department of Defense in 2004, Japan provided direct support of $3.2 billion (about ¥366 billion) and indirect support worth $1.18 billion, offsetting as much as 74.5 percent of the total cost.

Even though the numbers were drawn from 2002 expenses, the figure has often been used by Japan in arguing that it’s paying a fair share. The figure was the highest among major U.S. allies at the time.

But last Friday, Defense Minister Tomomi Inada updated the information for the first time in more than 10 years, saying Japan paid about ¥191 billion in 2015, about 86.4 percent of the total cost.

Inada said the preliminary calculation did not include all related costs, implying that the number could be changed.

Meanwhile, U.S. Forces Japan told The Japan Times that the approximate cost of the U.S. presence in Japan is $5.5 billion, based on the 2017 Operation and Maintenance Overview by the Office of the U.S. Undersecretary of Defense.

Yes, these impersonators are great.

From Quora:
Europe does not have the “military industrial complex” as the United States has. 70% of the NATO defense spending is from the US. When you put 28 diverse nations into one political organization called the EU problems tend to arrise.

Its not like the US, where basically we have Canada which we have cooperative relations with, and Mexico. The Americas have been very stable compared to the rest of the world. (Mainly due to US hegemony)

Europe on the other hand is connected with two other continents, Africa where the Refugee crisis is looming, and Asia where the reapproachment of Russia comes from.

Since the cold war the US has been the “Leaders of the Free World” meaning, The US takes political and more importantly, Security responsibilities to the Euro-altantic nations. In the last few years, especially since 9/11, european countries seem to be more and more relucant to help support the United States. You might get your wish. The US is heavily supporting its allies in the Pacific, such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Philipines for the pivot to asia

Just a footnote Dave. Quota is very good. And they also have several, Subject Matter Experts contribute answers. And I do follow questions on their website. But for a particular question, they might have different answers - to a question - from several subject matter experts. All with outstanding credentials - mind you. Along with what I call, input from armchair “experts”.

See, for example - a recent Quora email I received. Which has 12 different “expert” opinions:

If light speed travel were possible, would you want to do it?

Randy, I don’t think that what I quoted was opinion, was it? In any case I do have a number of other articles from other sites that say much the same thing and are not opinions.
Be that as it may - if we pulled our military support for Europe, we’d most likely have enough for free proctology exams for everyone!! As well as free health insurance.
Should we do that?

It DEPENDS on what we mean, by pulling military support. Should we keep bases in Europe and Asian? Perhaps. But NOT at the level of personnel we currently have. Should we defend Japan, South Korea or Europe, if attacked by Russia or North Korea? Yes. As long as they promise to reciprocate, if we ever need help. I’m all for cutting, a foreign military US presence…, if it leads to free US health care - for all.

So if tomorrow Trump promised to do, what I said in paragraph 1. And he throws in free health care. I will back his plan 100%.

I’ll let Him know right after my breakfast appt with Melania!
