How To Live Under An Unqualified President by John Piper

What people don’t understand is most democrats in power want to keep the minorities poor, helpless victims so they can pander to the unfairness and get their votes

Bullseye!!! Yes they WANT to keep them on welfare & other govt programs so they remain dependent & chained up! Modern form of slavery!

Clever, you!!

No he hates puppies and eats them for breakfast. The Far Left eats only fruit, and only what has naturally fallen from the tree, because picking fruit is an act of violence, and would make them cry.

True,it violates Mother Earth’s safe space!

I could be wrong but from the way you are talking this whole new Trump thing sounds like Social Darwinism to me:

From Wikipedia under Social Darwinism

Again Hitler authorized the killing of the disabled and mentally ill.

I could be wrong but from the way you are talking this whole new Trump thing sounds like Social Darwinism to me:

I don’t follow? What whole new Trump thing?

The new president Trump supporters and their comments like your previous ones.

IMO, it is pernicious to compare Trump to Hitler. It appears to me that Trump wants to enforce the existing laws - put into effect by Obama, Hillary and all the rest. He inherited them; he wants to enforce them; they are intended to make America and ALL it citizens freer, flourishing, compassionate and strong. I see nothing wrong with that. This is his 4th day in office.

4 days. /Where were the Trump haters the past 8 years, as America was being dismantled?

I’m not comparing him to Hitler. But you support him and your comments sound like Social Darwinism.

Today, the Christian site Patheos, had a very interesting article:

Post-Ascension to the Presidency: Why All the Uproar?

That was interesting, though I hate hearing the calm voice of reason.

The new president Trump supporters and their comments like your previous ones.

Which comments specifically? Can you quote just one?

Darwinism? I hope not, Michael - I’m for freedom for ALL, flourishing for ALL, justice for ALL. I also think that ALL should do their part, however.

Dave,

Pope Francis said in the article:

His telegram stated, “Under your leadership, may America’s stature continue to be measured above all by its concern for the poor, the outcast and those in need.

That is correct.

What do you mean by the disabled doing their part? They are disabled. The ones who can’t function well in society. The mentally ill as well who are disabled and can’t function properly.

Michael - Everyone should do what they are able to do. I’m not unreasonable, I hope, in saying that. Would you disagree?

And to another point:

"So America First is not to be confused with chauvinism or nativism or isolationism.

America First is as sound an idea as that each family has the right to prefer its interests over the interests of other families. If my wife becomes ill, then my obligation is to care for her and expend such financial resources as are necessary to see to her welfare. If this means reducing my charitable contributions to the local food bank, then so be it. Whatever obligations I have to help others ‘ripple out’ from myself as center, losing claim to my attention the farther out they go, much like the amplitude of waves caused by a rock’s falling into a pond diminishes the farther from the point of impact. Spouse and/or children first, then other family members, then old friends, then new friends, then neighbors, and so on.

The details are disputable, but not the general principle. The general principle is that we are justified in looking to our own first. "

Yes I would. This philosophy of Social Darwinism take it into a micro-economic issue, claiming that social welfare programs that helped the poor and disadvantaged were contrary to nature itself. Those who reject any and all forms of charity or governmental welfare often use arguments rooted in Social Darwinism. There are a lot of disabled blacks, Hispanics etc.

I am not a social Darwinist, Michael, and I don’t fit any of those accusations. Neither, as far as I can tell, does the new Administration. Blacks as a group are greatly WORSE off after 8 years of liberal governance - they and veterans and disabled are going to be BETTER OFF. I don’t see how this can be a bad thing.
I’ll let you have the last word, but I’m done arguing about the social Darwinist thing.

Great Dave. If that’s the case then that’s wonderful!

On another note, I think there are two things (among many others) the new Admin should be applauded for - and these are BIG

They are PRO-LIFE.
They are PRO-CHRISTIAN.

Under Obama and the far-left, Christians were being attacked.
Under the far-left, over 50 million human beings were aborted. Killed.

Hillary would have continued both those trends.
And for perspective: CLICK TO SEE ENTIRE PICTURE.

If that is the case, can you explain why a disproportionately greater number of blacks support Democratic candidates rather than Republican?

I would never have guessed that such a large percentage of the U.S. citizens are so intent on supporting Trump, right or wrong. To get around Trump’s extremism, they have to hold the position that most of the media is lying.

I have never made the comparison with Hitler, but contemplating it, it doesn’t seem so far off. Most German citizens supported Hitler, just as most U.S. citizens, (well, not most—a few million more voted for Hillary than for Trump; I should say “almost half”) support Trump.

Clearly he cannot get Mexico to pay for his wall, and so he is going to try to force them to do so by charging unusually high tariffs for imports. But that will never work, either. The result of this effort will be U.S. citizens paying—not Mexico.

By the way, I shook hands with Mr. Trump yesterday (uhhh… not Donald Trump, but someone in my area whose name is Brian Trump).
