“A goal is a dream with a deadline.” - Napoleon Hill

“Contentment, then, is the product of a heart resting in God. It is the soul’s enjoyment of that peace that passes all understanding. It is the outcome of my will being brought into subjection to the Divine will. It is the blessed assurance that God does all things well, and is, even now, making all things work together for my ultimate good.” -Arthur W. Pink-

All you need in life is right company, right inspiration, right thoughts and right emotions and you are on the way to heaven on earth even in the midst of hell all around.~~Bodhi

“I will breathe. I will think of solutions. I will not let my worry control me. I will not let my stress level break me. I will simply breathe. And it will be okay. Because I don’t quit.”-- Shayne McClendon

Watch your breaths for some time. You are breathing from the upper part of your body closer to your lungs. This is not healthy breathing. Learn and practice consciously breathing by inflating your abdomen while inhaling and deflating while exhaling. Babies breathe like this. If you want to
be healthy and emotionally balanced, learn to breathe deep, long, mindful baby breaths. ~~Bodhi

“Real prayer is communion with God, so that there will be common thoughts between His mind and ours. What is needed is for Him to fill our hearts with His thoughts, and then His desires will become our desires flowing back to Him.” -Arthur W. Pink-

At times we should stop our routine for a day and go into pure nature and observe inner silence to feel the reality that God is nowhere but Now and Here. ~~Bodhi

“This is the God of the gospel of grace. A God who, out of love for us, sent the only Son He ever had wrapped in our skin. He learned how to walk, stumbled and fell, cried for His milk, sweated blood in the night, was lashed with a whip and showered with spit, was fixed to a cross, and died whispering forgiveness on us all.” -Brennan Manning-

“When I get honest, I admit I am a bundle of paradoxes. I believe and I doubt, I hope and get discouraged, I love and I hate, I feel bad about feeling good, I feel guilty about not feeling guilty. I am trusting and suspicious. I am honest and I still play games. Aristotle said I am a rational animal; I say I am an angel with an incredible capacity for beer.” -Brennan Manning-

“What makes authentic disciples is not visions, ecstasies, biblical mastery of chapter and verse, or spectacular success in the ministry, but a capacity for faithfulness. Buffeted by the fickle winds of failure, battered by their own unruly emotions, and bruised by rejection and ridicule, authentic disciples may have stumbled and frequently fallen, endured lapses and relapses, gotten handcuffed to the fleshpots and wandered into a far county. Yet, they kept coming back to Jesus.” -Brennan Manning-

“Your mind is like this water, my friend. When it is agitated, it becomes difficult to see. But if you allow it to settle, the answer becomes clear.”-- Bil Keane

“Grace cannot prevail…until our lifelong certainty that someone is keeping score has run out of steam and collapsed.” -Robert Farrar Capon-

“He comes to us in the brokenness of our health, in the shipwreck of our family lives, in the loss of all possible peace of mind, even in the very thick of our sins. He saves us in our disasters, not from them. He emphatically does not promise to meet only the odd winner of the self-improvement lottery. He meets us all in our endless and inescapable losing.” -Robert Farrar Capon

“Your worth consists in what you are and not in what you have.”-- Thomas A. Edison

“The wisdom of the chess player is displayed more in winning over a capable opponent than a novice. The wisdom of the general is displayed more in defeating a superior army than in subduing an inferior one. Even more so, the wisdom of God is displayed when He brings good to us and glory to Himself out of confusion and calamity rather than out of pleasant times.” - Jerry Bridges-

“The wisdom of God becomes active when a person out of the fear for the Lord throws himself completely into God.” - Sunday Adelaja-

“If only you could sense how important you are to the lives of those you meet; how important you can be to people you may never even dream of. There is something of yourself that you leave at every meeting with another person.”-- Fred Rogers

“Man can certainly flee from God… but he cannot escape him. He can certainly hate God and be hateful to God, but he cannot change into its opposite the eternal love of God which triumphs even in his hate.” - Karl Barth-

No one on earth or heaven can make you unhappy unless you are used to an unconscious life. Disconnected from the Now and stuck with old habitual ruts. This is the ground where even material abundance can keep you unhappy. Small is big when you have the eyes to see the glory of Now and the big in the small. This very moment you and I are full, provided we are soul-full, heart-full, mindful.~~Bodhi

Confucius says - I think. Man who stands on toilet is high on pot.

A loving and just God is going to have to deal with our contingent histories, to remove moral luck from the salvation equation. But how can he do this if death interrupts our moral development? Truly, there just isn’t enough time in this life to correct many of our contingent histories. So what does God have to do? I’ll tell you:

He has to defeat Death. He has to defeat The Scourge of Humanity.

See, Death’s Sting isn’t just about dying, although that is bad. It’s about running out of time. About death trumping God’s efforts to eradicate sin and sanctify creation. Death is a moral clock. And it’s ticking.

But here is the witness of universalism: God is governed by no clock. He doesn’t run out of time. His love never fails. - Richard Beck
